What I want and what I fear.” – Joan Didion Winter invites us to turn our gaze inward, slowing down. The darkness is an opportunity to build a cocoon around ourselves for the next months, re-emerging transformed in the spring. These layers of cocoon may be new habits, ways of being, shifts of perspective, learning a new skill... Journaling is one such under-utilized tool that supports our internal journey - inviting us to shift from automatic to manual driving, & create space to get to know ourselves on deeper levels. What if the key to clarity & calm lies in the simple combination of movement, breath, & writing? This weekend, join us for an immersive experience where meditation, gentle yoga, & journaling come together to nurture your mental health. As the winter months settle in, it’s the perfect time to turn inward, explore your emotions, & reconnect with yourself. ✨ What to Expect: 
Through mindful breathing & organic movement, we’ll prepare our minds & bodies to open up. Then, we’ll let the pen flow, allowing our thoughts and feelings to spill onto the page. Don’t worry - all writing will be prompted, so you don’t have to stare at an intimidating blank page. We’ll move through a mixture of freestyle, creative prompts, poetry, & more. Whether you’re new to journaling or a seasoned writer, this workshop will guide you through exercises that help you: • Lower stress levels and boost your mood. • Connect with your inner voice and intuition. • Gently shift into a parasympathetic, relaxed state. This is your time to pause, release, & remember: If nothing else, I can simply be. If nothing else, I can simply breathe. Bellingham!! Tomorrow!! 🚨 I’m super excited Bellingham!! Tomorrow!! 🚨 I’m super excited to be modeling at the @lifedrawingbellingham class tomorrow (Dec 3rd) from 6:30-9pm! Some of the images are here - I come back months and years later, and appreciate something I couldn’t see in the moment. It’s a long process to create art, but one that I love.
