From the archives. In 2019, I took my mom to Italy for the first time. She was visiting me in Stockholm, but at the time I was feeling disenchanted about Sweden. After a trip up north to the ice hotel, and a skip across the Arctic Circle to Narvik, Norway, we hopped on a plane to my favourite country in Europe.
We stayed at Agriturismo La Terra, sitting on the border of Umbria and Tuscany. And, we fell in love with the place.
So much so that when I returned to Italy during the pandemic in the spring of 2021, I came back to visit. I stayed as a member of the family, and enjoyed helping out with cooking and taking pictures of all the delicious, homemade Italian food.
