MILRUCK is where I found myself — the Swedish equivalent to America’s GORUCK (but with more difficult standards).
In addition to the many events I participated in as an athlete, I photographed a couple of the more iconic events, including Hallow’s Eve (pictured here) and a 9/11 ruck event.
This one is extra special because the team weight is a pumpkin… And because it ends at a cemetery. Athletes bring a candle to light in honour of someone they have lost.
A perfect example of bridging the masculine and feminine; the hard work and the surrender.
